Prayer Request

A co-teacher that I teach with a OES got some hard news today.  I'm asking that everyone just please pray that God will give her the strength and the courage she needs to be able to get through this difficult time.  I know that the Lord never gives us more than what we can handle.  She is such a strong woman and fully believes in the Lord, but it's always hard when you get some bad news.  She needs some extra prayers sent up the Man Upstairs in her favor.

You helped me so much when I got the heartbreaking news about my daddy.  You helped me when I was having a hard time at school. Now it is my turn to help you.  I want you to know that I am here for you and so is everyone else.  Lean on us, we are here.  God knows that you are a strong woman.  You WILL get through this.  Keep your head up.  You are "The Diva"! :)   Love you.   -Jamison

Christmas Parade

Blaise was in the Munford Christmas Parade last Saturday night, for her cheerleading squad.  She looked so stinkin cute.  Have I mentioned how much I absolutely adore this little girl?  Anyway, My mom, dad, & Jackson came to watch with me & Brian.  Daddy wasn't feeling well so he sat in the truck.   Jackson loved the parade.  He kept asking, "Where's Bwaise?" He loves, loves, loves him some Blaise and she loves loves loves her some Jackson.  They are so sweet together and she is so good with him.  Jackson loved everything about the parade except for the motorcycles and 4-wheelers, because they were too loud.  After the 4-wheelers went by, Jackson told us "I'm going to ask Santa Clause for a 4-wheeler so I can be in the parade and I will throw candy to y'all." I just love that kid!

Christmas City

As long as I can remember when I was growing up my parents always took my sister and me to Christmas City.  I always looked forward to going every year.  It never hit me till last weekend that taking us to Christmas City would be a tradition we would keep and pass on.  It was so fun and memorable.  With Daddy having a cancer and all of us being able to go and share old memories made it even more special.
  We all had such a good time. I loved watching Jackson's reactions to the lights.  I can remember the way my sister and I would react.  Funny how we all react the same regardless of how old or how many years ago it was.

Thank you God for letting me spend such a memorable night with the people that matter most to me.  Thank you for letting my Daddy be there to enjoy it with us.  Thank you for letting us be able to continue to create more memories with each other and to be able to share old family memories with new family members.  Thank you for giving the best parents ever and the best nephew ever.

Farewell Dinner

Last Thursday night we had a goodbye dinner for our friend/co-worker, Kaitlyn.  We had a 3 hour "dinner" at Olive Garden. I'm sure our waiter couldn't wait for us to leave.  I so much enjoy the girls I work with.  They are so funny, nice, caring, and all around awesome.
Kaitlyn was our IF at OES.  I just met her this year, but we pretty much became friends instantly.  I'm so sad to see her leave.  She helped me so much at the beginning of the year.  Not only did she help me get adjusted at my new job, but she also was a friend, I have cried and laughed with her.  This  week was just not the same, walking past her office not making a stupid joke, or poking my head in to just say hi. I know that Kaitlyn's new co-workers will love her just as much as we do.

Thank you so much for all you did for me over the past couple of months.  I'm not sure how I would've made it without you.  Thank you for being a friend to me and accepting me into the "cool group" :)  I miss seeing you around school, having someone to cut up with, and having my Partner In Crime. (I have a few potential new candidates to take your spot, but they have some pretty big shoes to fill. Good Luck new PIC)  I know that your new school is going to absolutely love you and that you are going to do an awesome job.  The kids there are so lucky to have you as their teacher.  I wish you the very best of luck.  Can't wait for a get together vacation this summer!

Reminders:  Dress your age. Dresses & boots are not appropriate.  Do not take initiative, your not in charge.  Do not wear a hat, unless you turn canadian.  Get twitter.  Get instagram.  Workout pants may be okay to wear the first couple of months, but then they are not.  Be Careful.

Field Trip

Last week OES 3rd grade went on a Field Trip.  We went to the iMax & Pink Palace.  The iMax movie we went and saw was called "Tornado Ally"  it was ok.  I enjoyed looking at the Christmas trees and seeing how everyone had decorated them.  So many creative trees.

Overall we had a really good day.  The Pink Palace is such a fun and unique place to visit.  Glad we went on field trip there.

Potato Soup

A couple of weekends ago I made the best potato soup.  It was the first time I had ever made it and it turned out delicious!  The recipe was really easy to follow and didn't call for a lot of unheard ingredients. I ate it for lunch & dinner for about 3 days.  I'm surprised that I didn't turn into a potato.

I used this Potato Soupe Recipe I highly recommend you try it!  After I did everything the recipe says and put it in my bowl to eat, I topped it with shredded cheese & sour cream! Yumm Yumm Enjoy!

Good News

I got to go to the Doctor with my Daddy this past Tuesday.  Again, my Daddy has been doing great!  The only time he is down is usually the two days after his chemo.  He has done so much better than I ever dreamed.  I cannot thank God enough for this.  Anyway, I went to doctor with him.  They took his blood to check his levels and to see how he was doing with Chemo.  Well, the doctor came in listened to his breathing. Drum Roll please..... He said his blood counts were good and that his breathing is much better.  Which means the chemo is working and that the cancer is shrinking!  PRAISE GOD!!!! Please continue to pray for my family.  I believe in the power of prayer and if this is not a testament of how powerful God is I don't know what is.

Of course I have to tell a funny story to go along with this.  Blaise spent the day with me Tuesday, which means she had to go to the doctor with me & Daddy.  We were on our way to Memphis when Daddy turns and looks at me and says "what's her name again?" I should probably mention before I finish this story that Daddy is hard of hearing....
Me: "Blaise"
Daddy: "Huh?"
Me in a louder voice:  "Blaise"
Daddy: "What"  
Me in an even louder voice: "Blaise, Daddy!  Blaise"
Daddy: "I don't know what you're saying, I'm just going to have to call her something else"
He turns and looks at Blaise and says, "What do you think about Rodriquez?  That's what I'm calling you."  So Blaise has officially been inducted into the Webb Family!

Thank you God for good news.  Thank you for watching over my family.  Thank you for letting my Daddy still be himself.  Thank you for an awesome Thanksgiving with my family. Thank you for your healing hands.

Game night!

Two of my very best friends and I have decided that we are going to start having game nights!  So far we have had a few & I believe they are only going to get better with time.  We are all pretty silly and have no cares in the world when we are all together, so the sillier the games the more fun we have.  But I must say, our always go to, number one game, is Catch Phrase!  It gets a little intense and I usually end up getting upset and swapping partners at some point in time (Some might would call me a sore loser, But I think not!)
