I got to go to the Doctor with my Daddy this past Tuesday. Again, my Daddy has been doing great! The only time he is down is usually the two days after his chemo. He has done so much better than I ever dreamed. I cannot thank God enough for this. Anyway, I went to doctor with him. They took his blood to check his levels and to see how he was doing with Chemo. Well, the doctor came in listened to his breathing. Drum Roll please..... He said his blood counts were good and that his breathing is much better. Which means the chemo is working and that the cancer is shrinking! PRAISE GOD!!!! Please continue to pray for my family. I believe in the power of prayer and if this is not a testament of how powerful God is I don't know what is.
Of course I have to tell a funny story to go along with this. Blaise spent the day with me Tuesday, which means she had to go to the doctor with me & Daddy. We were on our way to Memphis when Daddy turns and looks at me and says "what's her name again?" I should probably mention before I finish this story that Daddy is hard of hearing....
Me: "Blaise"
Daddy: "Huh?"
Me in a louder voice: "Blaise"
Daddy: "What"
Me in an even louder voice: "Blaise, Daddy! Blaise"
Daddy: "I don't know what you're saying, I'm just going to have to call her something else"
He turns and looks at Blaise and says, "What do you think about Rodriquez? That's what I'm calling you." So Blaise has officially been inducted into the Webb Family!
Thank you God for good news. Thank you for watching over my family. Thank you for letting my Daddy still be himself. Thank you for an awesome Thanksgiving with my family. Thank you for your healing hands.
So blessed. Praise God for Great News!

Game night!
Two of my very best friends and I have decided that we are going to start having game nights! So far we have had a few & I believe they are only going to get better with time. We are all pretty silly and have no cares in the world when we are all together, so the sillier the games the more fun we have. But I must say, our always go to, number one game, is Catch Phrase! It gets a little intense and I usually end up getting upset and swapping partners at some point in time (Some might would call me a sore loser, But I think not!) Here are some pictures from our game nights!
Even our text messages are intense
Just a few of our games!
Some of our food plus the card table & a very clean home!
Head Bandz... A favorite with the boys not so much for us girls We may like to cheat a little

Quelf! Love this game
Anytime Jessica wanted to talk, she had to touch her forehead with her thumb & wink
Another one of our favorite games Left Right Center

I'm so blessed and thankful that I have best friends that I can be silly with and spend quality time with. I am thankful that I have y'all to keep me grounded and that y'all are ALWAYS there for me. I love that we have made sure that even in all our busy lives that we still set aside time to spend time with each other. I love you all and thank God everyday that I have you in my life! Thank all of you for simply being you and for being my friends! Love, Jams
Long Overdue
Not sure why I haven't blogged in so long... I have a ton of stuff to write about from over the past couple of weeks, so I guess I will start will something silly.
The other day at school we made slime, so here are the how to's on making slime and the outcomes!
After you mix the borax & water slowly pour the mixture in with the glue & food coloring mixture and stir. Stir slowly with spoon. When it starts getting gooey start mixing with your hands...
Try the slime recipe out! It's really easy! In case my directions weren't precise enough here is a link you can use for your own slime! Slime Recipe

It's Real
As I am writing this I have tears pouring out of my eyes onto this keyboard. This is a very raw moment for me. I know that my Daddy has cancer. I knew that eventually his hair would probably fall out. It's been a couple of weeks since his first chemo treatment and he has been doing great. He is still getting out and about, still being Daddy. He still looks and acts the same. Well last night his hair started falling out. I was thinking on my way home yesterday how proud I was of him and how really nothing had change. I know this is such a trivial thing to cry over or be upset about, but it makes it real. It's staring me right in the face now. There's no more knowing it's there but can't see it. It's real and it's not going anywhere and now there are starting to be signs of this nasty ugly thing. I HATE, DESPISE, LOATHE cancer. My family has been so strong and my Daddy, well Daddy is my hero. He has not let this thing stop him at all. I cannot even begin to explain how proud I am of him. I love that man with all my heart and so very proud to say that I am his daughter and that he is MY Daddy!

Thank you God for giving my daddy the strength and courage to still get out and be himself. Thank you for letting us see his big smile everyday. Thank you for making him my daddy. Thank you for the best family a girl could ever ask for.
A little glimpse
I love teaching 3rd grade. My kids are old enough to take care of themselves and are independent, but they still love their teacher. The past two weeks have been great. I have a couple of stories that I want to tell, because I want to remember them.
First, I have the cutest little girl, Lucy, in my class. She has this long curly hair and the biggest heart warming smile. She is constantly making me laugh and smile. The other day I had pulled my hair up on top of my head. I always believe that it looks awful, but for some reason my kids love it.
Well, Lucy comes up to me and says, "Miss Jamison, can you fix my hair like yours?" Well of course I had to say yes. Lucy was my Twin for the day! Same hair & cowboys boots! It is an official trademark for my class now. They ask for the "Miss Jamison Do"
Another funny story: My classroom theme is Owls, so my students get "Owl Bucks" They can earn these owl bucks by doing various things in my room. For instance, bringing in their red folders everyday they get an owl buck. They also can buy things from each other or do whatever they wish their "Money". They love this. Well, the other day Lucy came up to me all in a tiff. She says, "Miss Jamison it's just not fair! It's just not fair!" I said, "What's not fair honey?" She says, "Aaron. He's charging me a dollar to wash my board" Side Note: They have white boards they use that they keep under their desks. I pass out their expo markers to them every time we use the boards and take them up when we are done. Aaron has his own markers and expo wash, which is fine with me.
Well, apparently Aaron has been charging all the kids an Owl Buck to wash their boards for them. Haha. I had to tell Lucy I couldn't do anything about it, that Aaron was being a good business man. I sure do love my kids!
We also did angry verbs the other day. An activity that I found on Pinterest. My Kids loved it! They had so much fun writing sentences about the game Angry Birds, while having to find the verbs in their sentences.
I believe that I have mentioned that I absolutely adore the girls I work with, if I haven't I'll say it again, I adore the girls I work with. I become such good friends with all of them. Magen, is the funny silly one. She is always telling the funniest stories and making me laugh. Well she has a thing with mustaches. I went into her room the other day and all her kids, plus her had mustaches on their fingers. Well of course I wanted one too. So.... I Mustache You A Question?

This is just a little glimpse into my day and just a few of the important people I spend every week with. So blessed to have all of these people in my life. Thank you God for my job. Thank you for all the people I work with. Thank you for all the friends I have made. Thank you for all the sweet kids I have in my classroom.

Do you love our mustache? Thank you Magen for always making me laugh and being such a good friend!
The next gal below is my favorite! (No offense to other girls!) But Jennifer is my mentor so she does have a little something over the others :) Jennifer was brought into my life for a reason I know she was. We hit it off the first day at new teacher inservice. She is so kind hearted and is like a big sister/Momma to me. (Depending on what we talk about! Haha Jen) Jennifer has been there for me since day one. Not only do we have a work relationship, we have a friendship that I know will last for a very long time. I'm so glad that I cannot only call her my mentor, but also an awesome friend.
Thank you Jennifer for all you have done and continue to do for me! I love you dearly!
